Join the City of Riverside to celebrate the success of your community at the Chamber luncheon on Thursday, March 8. The lunch program will start at 11:45 a.m. and feature a presentation by Mayor Kathy Rose and City staff members about the quality initiatives taking place throughout the City.
Quality Education
Four graduating seniors from Park Hill South High School will be honored as the winners of the Riverfest Scholarship and will be on hand to present their essays about “how to enhance their community.” The City is pleased to acknowledge the success of these students and their enthusiasm for making their community and world a better place.
Quality of Life
Learn about the City’s efforts to enhance our community image, parks projects and planned activities, the Healthy Citizens Initiative and City recycling programs.
Quality Development
Receive updates on current projects including the Welcome Plaza, Horizons Business Park, Briarcliff Professional Plaza and the Village at Gatewoods and Montebella residential developments. There will also be a general update on what City departments are working on now including infrastructure projects, code enforcement and building regulations, and environmental efforts.
